Braselton, GA – Ten cars were in a position to win round three of the 2016 F1600 Series on the last lap at Road Atlanta, with Max Mallinen playing race craft to his advantage to take his first career victory to close out the weekend ahead of Steve Bamford and Calvin Ming.
Daytona Beach, Fla. – It has been, and will continue to be, a busy autumn for 17-year-old driver Max Mällinen. Winning his second US Majors National Championship and charging through the field at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs at Daytona International Speedway in September only for his race to be cut short. The back-to-back SCCA Majors title winner is next headed to the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) to test in a USF2000 car to prepare for the 2016 season.

Trois-Rivières, Quebec – Max Mällinen encountered his first street circuit and came away with two fifth place finishes over the Formula Tour 1600 weekend at GP3R, or better known as the tight street course in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada.
Fresh off six straight SCCA Majors victories, Mällinen was back for his second weekend with leading Canadian team, Exclusive Autosport. He had competed previously with the Championship-winning team at the Canadian Grand Prix, in the Formula Tour 1600 support race.
